Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve K-12 students in the Baltimore, MD area, supporting community preschools, elementary, and middle schools. This role requires on-site presence with no remote or hybrid work options. The position offers multiple assignment options with varying schedules and student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to preschool through middle school students in community preschool programs, elementary, and secondary school settings.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-As) supporting therapy services (applicable to middle school assignment).
- Manage caseloads itinerantly between assigned school locations as applicable.
- Deliver quality therapeutic intervention consistent with state standards and student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children across preschool, elementary, and secondary school age groups.
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the Baltimore area.
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly when supervising support staff.
- Commitment to full-time or part-time hours based on assignment availability.
Assignment Options and Schedules:
- Preschool Community Locations (itinerant): Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday, from 12/1/25 (or earlier) through 1/9/26 with potential for additional coverage.
- Elementary Schools (Magnolia Elementary and Prospect Mill Elementary): Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday, from 2/16/26 through 5/29/26 with option to extend into July ESY.
- Middle School (Aberdeen Middle School): Part-time or full-time options, 30 to 37.5 hours/week, Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, from 3/16/26 through 6/18/26 with option to extend into July ESY; includes SLP-A supervision.
